Five Mindset Strategies Designed to Transform Your Online Business

The coronavirus has REALLY impacted not just how we do business, but how we view things in life in general. And for me, this year has really helped me prioritize my business in a way where I am intentionally trying to make as many things automated and passive so that I can still take care of my family while growing my business.

So this may get you thinking about what can you do differently about how you do business. Here are some (of many tips) that may help you improve your business for the better.

1. Prioritize Life Time Rather Than Short Term Value

Too many gurus online profess to make a lot of sales on a particular coaching program or system, but what they often to do not mention are repeat sales. The lifeblood of your business will not come from high ticket sales, it will come from repeat business over the course of your business.

As you plan out things for 2021 and beyond, start thinking about ways to cross-sell other products/services that may be of interest to your clients and customers. Do not rely on one and one service alone.

The end of this year, I am going to be unveiling a great new program designed to help improve branding and marketing. It will start with a FREE three day live challenge.

2. Do Not Work On Weekends

I know this is easier said that done. Especially for those of you who are still needing to work full time to help support your business. If you cannot work on the weekends, at least schedule ONE DAY off from working on anything.

Far too often as entrepreneurs we want to work all the time on our business. We have to do better than that. We need to use our free time to rest, relax and recoup our energy. And when we come back, we are going to come back with a new attitude and great ideas.

3. Amplify Kindness

How often we are getting bad news. Bad news online, from negative friends or family or just nasty social media interactions. Your job as a business owner is to show you are not just a business person, but a human being who care about others.

As Michelle Obama once said, “When they go low — we go high.” Don’t get involved in mud slinging matches and show kindness to others whenever possible.

4. Evaluate Content You Consume (Free or Paid)

If you are using your business email account to get business information, you must be getting TONS of offers offers (free and paid) alike. If you are busy like me and are short on time, you need to make every second count. Do not get every free or low cost offer JUST because they said it was a limited time event. Your time and energy is precious. Make sure that you are signing up for things that will help improve your business.

5. Remove Negativity and Fear (Daily)

One of the issues that I admit to not having overcome is fear and anxiety. I think we all suffer from it time to time. And do you know where that energy is linked to — negative energy comes when we react to things (or people) failing to line up to our expectation

I want to let you know that even with all of the best planning in the world, we cannot always get our way. The best thing we can do is to be intentional about our expectations and what we want to happen.

Honestly and clear heart is our best bet in not just growing our business but being better people.
